MEET GEORGE OCKOVIC
George Ockovic is one of New York’s most trusted mortgage loan originators and a top producer at UNMB. George and his family currently live in Dix Hills, NY. He was born in Albertson, NY where he attended Chaminade High School and later graduated from Siena College before embarking on a career in financial planning, followed by real estate investing for five years. It was during the financial crisis that George found himself in financial hardship and needing to change careers. Mortgage finance has been a natural fit for George, given his strong work ethic, dedication to his craft, and natural desire to help people…often at any hour.
George is a family man who enjoys day trips and vacations with his wife and two adolescent children. He also likes playing sports (especially hockey) and experiencing new foods. George supports numerous local organizations and charities—including a Bronx-based charter school, child adoption, and helping military service personnel with PTSD.
George’s personal goal for the future is to save for his children’s college education and professionally to keep developing good and meaningful relationships.
